OUR HOSPITAL.Our facility is licensed as an acute care hospital under the Colorado state licensing agency.  Colorado Acute Hospital. considers itself an acute specialty hospital capable of treating the most complex of cases.   Our hospital is certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services as a Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) - a program which allows Colorado Acute Hospital.to designate itself as a Medicare participating hospital.  Our hospital also seeks accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).  

Colorado Acute is conveniently located near St. Anthony Central adjacent to the picturesque Sloan's Lake. With invigorating views of both the lake and the majestic Rocky Mountains to the west and the scenic downtown Denver skyline to the east, our JCAHO accredited facility is conveniently located for easy access from both I-70 and I-25.

Colorado Acute is not simply a building or equipment. It is our people and our approach to health care. We provide for the needs of the medically complex patient, the 3% - 5% of the acute care patient population with multiple conditions.
