Denver Water ~ Home Page

Denver Water will provide our customers with high quality water and excellent service through responsible and creative stewardship of the assets we manage. We will do this with a productive and diverse work force. We will actively participate in and be a responsible member of the water community.

There's a lot of work between the mountaintop where your water falls as snow and rain, and the clear drinking water coming from your tap.  Providing safe water for Denver's use is the Denver Water's mission, and it means crews, perhaps in your neighborhood, working to maintain existing pipe.  It means crews, perhaps on your work route to work, constructing of new facilities to replace the obslete.  It means late night emergency crews working by floodlight to repair broken mains.

Denver Water is the largest water utility between the Mississippi River and the West Coast, managing more than 500,000 acre feet of water storage and serving more than one million customers through 2,500 miles of computer-controlled pipes. This municipal agency, owned by the citizens of Denver, employs over 1,000 people.
